Red Six Media was charged with developing an integrated, multi-year campaign to position GCB&T as a capable alternative to the biggest banks in the country and extend its legacy as the trusted financial partner for the next generation.

Building on the campaign’s first year of success, Red Six Media expanded the “Let’s Make It Happen” campaign to businesses of all shapes and sizes. The campaign showcased the diverse stories of business owners achieving their goals with guidance from Gulf Coast Bank & Trust. Emphasizing the bank’s commitment to supporting business growth and community impact, the campaign reinforced GCB&T’s status as a trusted partner in the local business community.

HOW WE MADE IT SIXY

Painting the town orange and teal.

Red Six Media leveraged Gulf Coast Bank & Trust’s distinctive orange and teal color palette, along with the wave and sun making up its logo, to promote the brand across various channels.

This high-visibility campaign showcased the brand through out-of-home (OOH) advertising, in-branch displays, digital/social media platforms — and even the GCB&T’s iconic trolley in New Orleans. By saturating the local market with their vibrant brand identity, the bank reinforced its commitment to supporting the community.

In addition to compelling visual storytelling, Red Six Media wanted the Gulf Coast Bank & Trust brand to carry a distinctive sound. To do that, we negotiated a publishing and master license to secure the usage rights for J.J. Grey and Mofro’s infectious, soulful song “WYLF (What You’re Lookin’ For).” 

The track’s inviting message continues to reinforce the GCB&T commitment to being the trusted financial partner locals are looking for, enhancing the campaign’s emotional appeal and local relevance.
