Party Time, a beloved local store with over 40 years of history, specializes in providing a wide range of party, baking, and costume supplies. Known for its extensive selection and personalized customer service, Party Time has been a staple in the community, helping customers create memorable events and celebrations. But how could we help them compete in a market crowded with national brands and e-commerce giants?

THE INSIGHT

Moms are celebration heroes.

Our research into retail consumer behavior revealed that Party Time’s unique strength was its carefully curated products and hands-on customer service that national chains and online giants can’t replicate.

We also recognized that moms are often called upon to become “party heroes,” responsible for making special events more personalized and memorable. Our creative direction sought to both celebrate and empower these moms as they turn every occasion into an unforgettable experience.

HOW WE MADE IT SIXY

Meet the
Mom-ettes.

Building on the big insight, we developed a campaign featuring three archetypical moms, each enacting the spirit of a different kind of celebration hero. Lovingly known as the “Mom-ettes,” these moms sing Party Time’s praises (literally) capturing the essence and excitement of each season and showing how Party Time products can bring your celebration to life.

CREATING HAPPINESS
Party Time broke sales records. Party City went broke.

Party Time had back-to-back years of record-breaking sales on the heels of the Covid-19 pandemic. In fact, in our time working together, a major national party chain just down the street shut its doors, while Party Time has never been stronger.

2022–2023:

Campaign results worth celebrating.

Our comprehensive approach to brand-building through storytelling, print media, social and digital advertising, and video helped elevate a historic Baton Rouge company to even greater heights.
